new ways of working?

September 5th. 2:18am. ...almost 21 days now I know about Palomar5.
471 hours of passionate dreams - 28,278 minutes of craziness
It's incredible how I can't think on another thing: I wake up Palomar5, I go to sleep Palomar5....
...oh god: I'm in love! --'

Crazy in love with this fantastic project! I can't wait to see what will happen on the November 24th, and I definitely want to be a part of it!

.Ideas are running on my mind: I have to express.
Such a interesting approach to work on new ways of working.
We are many talking about new ways of living, but we have to start somewhere, and no one really focus and reconsider on a challenging part of our lifestyle mechanisms.
(too afraid about doing new?)

It reminds me when I was working on "design and responsible consumption" for my degree project.... ok interesting... but what, and how?
FOCUS, and start!
I chose clothing, as an inevitable part of our daily life, then I had the base of my project: how to consume clothing in a responsible way?

"New ways of living"....ok interesting... but where to focus and start?

The more I think about the topic of Palomar5, the more I realise that this is probably the key concept for new ways of living.
The one which will enable a significative change since our modern societies are based on working.
Sure, on the individual level we are much more than only workers (of course), but the society in the community scale is based on the working interrelations.
In many societies your work is the most important aspect of your social life:"What do you do? How much do you earn? ..."
Things are changing, people start to revalue free time, and the actual crisis accelerate the movement: In the USA, where the work is definitely your main social value, they are many many talented people suddenly jobless because of bad finances.
...without job but not without ressources!
They use this new spare time, to enjoy their life, live their dreams and launch their own business... this is called the funemployment
I like phenomena so much. People go out of the traditional working schemas.
These new entrepreneurs are creating lots and lots of new mini-business flowing creativity everywhere!!!
They use social media to regroup themselves, exchanges advises and ideas, to communicate and get in popularity... They challenge the old schedules, they create news kind of work lifestyle: half fun, half hard-work... everything driven by passion. This people are most of the time self-motivated, innovative, creative, multi-disciplinary and wild! They are definitely a new kind of workers!

Well, this is just an example next to many others, but I find it very interesting. Personally I won't wait to be fired to start funemployement, actually I won't apply anywhere after having my degree: I will start by my own: will create my own dream-business with my friends, and we will design our own working models: half fun, half hard-work... everything driven by passion!!!
We are all in different cities for the moment, however with all the modern tools that internet give us... we don't worry at all!

....but I have to confess, before starting that...
I am craving to live Palomar5!!
I can go and get the (others) stars for you Palomar5, please marry me!
